If you have been keeping up with the confusion about #9 in the new Safeway coupon policy in regards to accepting Walgreens Register Rewards, it has now come to a close as Safeway has changed #9 to the following:
#9. Safeway will accept valid Catalina manufacturer coupon that is issued to a customer by another retailer only if such coupon is for a specific item.
This means a catalina that states a dollar off amount your next purchase, such as RR’s,
will be NO LONGER be accepted.
*Corporate ended up finding out that they were unable to receive reimbursement from these catalinas, and have lost lots of money from people using them.
